Double-click the .cer file (ex: HostingInside VPN CA.cer). Security Warning will pop up then click Open
Select General tab and click Install Certificate
Choose Local Machine then click Next
Choose Place all certificates in the following store, click Browse, choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities, and click Next
Click Finish and Your Certificate has been imported to Your Local Machine
II. Connect to the VPN
Open Search Bar (Windows + s) and search for VPN Settings
Click Add a VPN Connection
In the VPN provider choose Windows (built-in). Enter Connection name with the name you like(ex: My VPN). Set the Server name or address with the VPN server's domain name. Set VPN Type to IKEv2. On the Type of sign-in info choose Username and password, then enter your VPN Username and Password
Click on Save and a new VPN option will show up. Click Connect and the VPN is ready to use
III. (Optional) Enable Internet Access When connected to the VPN, You will be able to access the IPMI. However, if you also want to connect to the Internet, You need to disable the Windows default gateway on remote network
On the same VPN page click Change adapter options on the right side
Right Click on Your VPN connection and select Properties
Go to Networking tab, select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4), and click Properties
Click Advanced
Disable the Use default gateway on remote network and then click OK
Disconnect and Connect to restart Your VPN Connection. Now You can access both Internet and IPMI
